After two consecutive victories, Bryson Ruff, the Charlie Sigmon Racing team, and his No. 24 Barringer Construction/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting/ Wild Bill Fitness machine returned to Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday night hoping for a day before Mother’s Day victory. Unfortunately, the day did not pan out the way they hoped.
Bryson qualified 2nd and quickly settled into 3rd for the Limited Late Model division feature. He stayed focused and passed for 2nd with roughly 30 laps left in the race. With 10 laps remaining, contact with a lapped car knocked the toe out and ruined his charge for the lead. However, he was able to hold on to his 2nd place position when he crossed the stripe.
