Bryson Ruff, the Charlie Sigmon Racing team, and their No. 24 Barringer Construction/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting/ Wild Bill Fitness machine returned to Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 27th looking for redemption after being taken out while leading two weeks prior.
Unfortunately, another wreck ended Bryson’s night early.
After starting on the pole for the third time in three races and leading the field to the green, an early caution saw Bryson restarting on the outside, in second place. He was shuffled back several positions, but battled his way back to third within a few laps.
From his third place vantage point, Bryson watched first and second battling for the lead with contact multiple times. Unfortunately, the leader spun and collected Bryson, ending his night with more than 40 laps remaining in the feature.
The team is working to get the car rebuilt and they will be back for the next race on Saturday, April 10th.
