Bad Tires Made for a Challenging Race for Bryson Ruff at Hickory on Saturday

The Charlie Sigmon Racing team, driver Bryson Ruff, and the No. 24 Barringer Construction/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting/ Wild Bill Fitness machine returned to Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) on Saturday, June 19th looking for a 4th consecutive victory. Unfortunately, tire draw plays a huge role in on-track success and an awful set of tires offered up yet another challenging weekend to the 24 team.

Despite not being able to set stagger properly due to the condition of the tires, Bryson pushed through in qualifying and managed to set fast time allowing him to start the feature from the pole. However, being able to push it for a couple of laps during a quick qualifying session does not a race make. The driver of the No. 24 did everything he could to just hang on and salvage the best finish he could this weekend. He crossed the stripe in third place.

The team will return next weekend in hopes of starting another winning streak!
