Breakthrough 2018 Victory for Bryson Ruff at Concord Speedway

Even though the weather cancelled the Saturday, April 7, racing action on the quarter-mile oval at Concord Speedway (NC), Bryson Ruff already had his breakthrough moment of the season-to-date one day earlier, as the young race car driver raced his way to victory on Friday, April 6.

Finishing second several times, Ruff and his No. 24 Legends Car Young Lions division team, entered Friday night’s race looking to one-up his results. With the assistance of Tony and Carson Ferguson as well as Mark Nahrstedt and Peyton Saxton, Ruff timed in the Bojangles’/ Barringer Construction/ Your Pie/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting / 4MFitness ride in the second spot. With a great start to the feature, he raced his fastest laps of the season, catching the leader and taking the lead. Maintaining his lap times throughout the race, Ruff crossed the finish line first to the cheers of many in attendance, earning his first win of the 2018 Concord season.
