Bryson Ruff was on Fire All Day at Hickory – Literally and Figuratively – For Win #6

After a fuel line split and ignited on the No. 24 Barringer Construction/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting/ Wild Bill Fitness machine early on, race day turned into adversity day for the second week in a row for Bryson Ruff and the Charlie Sigmon Racing team. With the help of Josh Kossek Racing and Leicht Motorsports Driver Development, the fire was extinguished and Bryson, thankfully, was unharmed.

The team immediately got to work and made sure their day wasn’t over. Despite the odds being stacked against them yet again, the team persevered and got the No. 24 back into race-ready condition.

Bryson didn’t let the morning affect his performance for one second. He set fast time and raced his way to Victory Lane for the sixth time this season. Earlier in the week, he was given the nickname “Showtime” by a fan on Hickory Motor Speedway’s Facebook page and he proved just how much he deserved it again on Saturday.
