Engine Woes End Bryson Ruff’s Round 4 Shootout Performance Prematurely

On Tuesday, June 25th, Bryson Ruff and the Mark Nahrstedt Race Cars team returned to Charlotte Motor Speedway for Round 4 of the Bojangles’ Summer Shootout. After qualifying in the top-10 and finishing second in his heat to NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series driver Bubba Wallace, Ruff fell back early on in the Pro Division feature in his No. 24 Bojangles’/ Barringer Construction/ Your Pie/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting / Wild Bill Fitness machine as the motor began spewing oil. Before the checkered flag flew, Ruff was forced to retire to the garage, ending his day early.

The team will return to Charlotte for Round 5 on Tuesday, July 2nd for more racing action and a fireworks show to celebrate Independence Day!
