First Limited Late Model Start, First Pole & First Win for Bryson Ruff at Hickory

After several years racing Legend cars, 16-year-old Bryson Ruff strapped into his No. 24 Barringer Construction/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting/ Wild Bill Fitness Limited Late Model to turn his first competitive laps in the season opener at Hickory Motor Speedway on Saturday, March 6th. Supported by his new team, Charlie Sigmon Racing (CSR), and his new spotter and driver coach, Doug Sigmon, Ruff laid down a qualifying lap that put him on the pole for the feature.

After leading the stout field of 16 cars to the green flag, the rookie led all 50 laps to earn his first Late Model victory in his first ever start. The team is thrilled to be starting off the season in winning fashion and hopes to carry the momentum throughout the year!
