18-year-old driver Bryson Ruff, the Charlie Sigmon Racing (CSR) team, and the No. 24 Barringer Construction/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting/ Wild Bill Fitness machine returned to Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) on Saturday, March 11th for the second twin Late Model Stock events of the 2023 season. Ruff qualified 5th for the first feature of the evening, battled a tight handling car and a rough-and-tumble race before crossing the stripe in 4th. The team prepared for the second feature of the night, which had the young driver starting 7th after the invert. The inside lane was bunched up on the start resulting in several cautions with Ruff stuck on the high side, shuffling him back to 10th. But, he rallied, raced hard, and earned his first podium finish of the year with his 3rd place finish.
The team will return to Hickory on March 25th with some great momentum after the first two weeks of racing this year.
