After breaking his winning streak last weekend due to a rough set of tires, Bryson Ruff, the Charlie Sigmon Racing team, and his No. 24 Barringer Construction/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting/ Wild Bill Fitness machine returned to Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) on Saturday, June 26th looking to start another streak.
Bryson earned his 8th pole of the season, but had an issue with his throttle sticking during the feature causing him to have to pull the peddle back up with his other foot. After the green flag flew, Bryson fell back a bit and settled into 2nd place. Throughout the feature he had great side-by-side racing battles with both Mason Maggio and Dexter Canipe Jr before making a pass to retake the lead and driving away from the field. The checkered flag waved and Bryson went to Victory Lane for the seventh time this season.
