With a car that was completely rebuilt from the ground up during the office season, Bryson Ruff and his No. 24 Barringer Construction/ Victory Lane Indoor Karting/ Wild Bill Fitness machine for Charlie Sigmon Racing (CSR) raced his way to twin Top-5 finishes in his first night of racing for the 2023 season at Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) on Saturday, March 4th. Ruff’s Late Model Stock was a rocket thanks to the hard work of the team during the off season who tore the car down completely and found the issues that had plagued them throughout 2022.
In the first of two features, the young driver qualified 4th and drove a great race but fought some tight handling issues after a long red flag. He brought the No. 24 machine across the stripe in 5th. For the second event, Ruff started 4th and battled throughout the feature packed with a lot of hard racing to maintain that position when the checkered flag fell.
The team will return to Hickory next week, Saturday, March 11th.
